This magical mountain lake, surrounded by protecting rock giants has succeeded in convincing Austrian voters: During the live evening show "9 Squares, 9 Treasures" on ORF 2, the natural jewel Körbersee in Schröcken was voted the most beautiful place in Austria.

The Körbersee is completely car-free and can only be reached by foot. In the winter additionally via the ski slopes.
In summer:
- From the village centre of Schröcken via the Alpe Batzen, walking time: 1 h
- From Schröcken/Nesslegg, walking time: 45 min
- From Hochtannbergpass/Kalbelesee, walking time: 45 min
- From Warth, Steffisalp-Express over the Saloberkopf, walking time: 1,5 h
- From Lech/Oberlech via Aufenfeld, walking time: 2.5 h
In winter:
- From the Falken ski swing over piste 255
